Can I use an ISO file to create a bootable CD/DVD?

Yes. east-tec DisposeSecure lets you create a CD/DVD Image File (ISO file) that you can use to burn a bootable CD/DVD with our product. To create the ISO file, please follow the steps below:

  1. Start east-tec DisposeSecure
  2. Click Next
  3. Select "Create DisposeSecure bootable disk" and click Next
  4. From the "Type of Bootable Media" dropdown menu, choose "Image Recorder (Save CD image as ISO file)" and click Next
  5. Leave the default options or change them if needed
  6. Click Next, then OK
  7. Select a location where to save the ISO file and click Save

Note: In Windows 7 and Windows 8, you can burn an ISO image to a blank CD/DVD just by double clicking the ISO file and then following the instructions. Or you can use a specialized CD/DVD burner software, that allows you to burn ISO files.
