east-tec Eraser Version 1.0-beta.3a was released on April 24, 1998.
- The 2GB limitation was removed. Eraser can now erase files of any size and wipe the free space on disks of any size (we want to test this feature on as many different systems as we can so it would help us a lot if you report any problems encountered with large files or disks)
- Eraser now uses InstallShield, the most widely used installer for Windows.
- Added the Tip Of the Day and the Introductory Letter dialog boxes
- EAST Technologies, Inc. has moved to http://www.east-tec.com. The Eraser home page is now located at http://www.east-tec.com/eraser/.
